In the second quarter of 2024, the dining and restaurant applications on Android have shown varied performance trends according to the latest data from Sensor Tower. Here's a brief overview of how the top five apps fared in the US.

McDonald's app downloads fluctuated between 2K and 2.5K, peaking at 2.5K in the last week of June. Weekly active users saw a significant jump, reaching 121K in late May from an initial 77K in early April.

Espresso House experienced a growth in downloads, with a notable spike to 2.3K in early May. However, this trend reversed towards the end of June, with downloads dipping to 1.2K. Its weekly active users hovered around the 22K to 26K range throughout the quarter.

Burger King Sverige showed a steady download pattern in the range of 1.1K to 1.2K, with a surge to 1.5K in early June. Active user data for Burger King Sverige was not provided.

The Subway® - Official App saw a declining trend in downloads, starting at 1.3K in April and falling to a mere 113 by late June. Weekly active users also decreased, from 4.3K to just over 2K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, TheFork - Restaurant bookings had its downloads peak at 498 in late April but generally remained below 500 throughout the quarter. The app's active users saw a high of 2.6K mid-quarter before stabilizing around 1.8K.
